本日４月１日は、TYEの創業記念日です。
今年で１５年目を迎えることができました。

Today, April 1st, is TYE’s founding anniversary.
This year marks our 14th anniversary.
We would like to express our sincere gratitude.
The cherry blossoms are in full bloom in Tokyo, where we live.

こちらは２０１５年の春にお納めしたサドルギリーシューズ。
ピーナッツカラーのベイビーカーフを編み込み、ほんのり桜色に染めて仕上げた思い出深い一足です。

These Saddle Gillie shoes were delivered in the spring of 2015.

This memorable pair of shoes is made from almond-colored baby calf leather woven and dyed a soft cherry blossom pink.

イントレチャート （手編み込み）はTYEの得意な技術のひとつ。
お客様のアイデアが職人の技術を向上させた好例です。

Intrecciato (hand-woven) is one of TYE’s specialties. It’s a great example of how a customer’s idea can improve the craftsmanship of our artisans.

上の画像は、イタリアのINCAS社、”INSTANT”のスムースカーフ。
アーストーンのベジタブルレザーは経年変化も魅力です。

The best material for intrecciato is baby calfskin.
The image above shows smooth calf ‘INSTANT’ from INCAS, an Italian company.
The earth-tone vegetable leather has an appealing aging effect.

TYEのシグネチャーバックルをアクセントに、パーソナルでシンプルな一足をお作りいたします。

If you’re interested in Intrecciato, we recommend the single strap loafer.
We will create a unique and simple pair accented with TYE’s signature buckle.

革の色とバックルとの組み合わせに特にルールはございません。
直観的に、あるいは自発性に従いながら悶々と悩まれることをお勧めいたします。

There are no particular rules for combining leather materials, colors, and buckles.
Because it is a bespoke item, we recommend going with your intuition or taking your time to think it through.

上記のINSTANTのカーフを例にとりますと、ワインレッドやパープルなどシックでエレガントな色合いには、円形のスターリングシルバーがおすすめです。
（無論ホワイトゴールドも素敵です）

For the INSTANT calf leather mentioned above, we recommend a circle-shaped sterling silver material for chic and elegant colors such as wine red and purple. (Of course, white gold is also nice.)

オフホワイトやベージュ、ライトブラウンなどナチュラルな色合いには、ロマンチックになりすぎないようスクエア型の真鍮を。
こちらのスクエアバックルもTYEのオリジナルです。

For natural colors such as off-white, beige, and light brown, square brass buckles are used to avoid looking too romantic.
These square buckles are also our own.

オリーブやダークグリーン、ダークブラウンなどノーブルでクラシックな色合いには円形のバックルでドレスダウンを。

For noble and classic colors such as olive, dark green, and dark brown, use a circular buckle to dress down the look.

今年度はバックルを新調し、新しいスタイルの靴をご提案する予定です。
